Desc: In the Shadow of War: Directed by Reyan Tuvi. This is a journey of solidarity, life and death starting from a small border village (Maheser/ Turkey), in anticipation for the war to end with victory and continuing to a city (Kobane) devastated by war. While the village is hoping for the liberation of the city, their children, relatives and friends are fighting for their land, independance and identity. The possibility of the liberation of this city, with the hope of a resurrection and a better world makes this expectation and struggle more significant.
